{"id":516,"date":"2025-12-19T11:46:35","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T11:46:35","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/latintadealmansa.com\/la-revistica\/?p=516"},"modified":"2026-04-09T14:48:32","modified_gmt":"2026-04-09T14:48:32","slug":"el-legado-almanseno-de-orson-welles","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/latintadealmansa.com\/la-revistica\/el-legado-almanseno-de-orson-welles\/","title":{"rendered":"El legado almanse\u00f1o de Orson Welles"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>El <strong>22 de diciembre<\/strong> se cumplen<strong> 60 a\u00f1os<\/strong> del estreno de <strong>Campanadas a medianoche<\/strong> (1965), la \u00faltima gran producci\u00f3n de <a href=\"https:\/\/es.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Orson_Welles\"><strong>Orson Welles<\/strong><\/a>, una de las figuras <strong>m\u00e1s prestigiosas del cine universal<\/strong> y c\u00e9lebre por su revolucionaria emisi\u00f3n radiof\u00f3nica de La guerra de los mundos. Su relaci\u00f3n con Espa\u00f1a \u2013marcada por el magnetismo de los toros, el esp\u00edritu de Hemingway y la sombra literaria de Cervantes\u2013 <strong>dej\u00f3 una huella profunda en \u00e9l <\/strong>que hoy sigue revelando sorprendentes conexiones. Para Campanadas a medianoche, su personal revisi\u00f3n del universo <strong>shakesperiano<\/strong> en torno a Falstaff, Welles ejerci\u00f3 de director, guionista, montador y actor, llegando incluso a dise\u00f1ar vestuario y decorados. La pel\u00edcula, que casi queda inconclusa por falta de financiaci\u00f3n, integra el<a href=\"https:\/\/almansaturistica.es\/castillo-almansa\/\"><strong> Castillo de Almansa<\/strong> <\/a>entre sus localizaciones. El rodaje, disperso durante dos a\u00f1os, reflej\u00f3<strong> el inimitable caos creativo de Welles<\/strong>: pod\u00eda filmar un plano en Cardona y el contraplano en Soria, confiando \u00fanicamente en su prodigiosa memoria visual para mantener el raccord.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Jes\u00fas Franco, colaborador del director<\/strong>, record\u00f3 c\u00f3mo Welles le ped\u00eda filmar escenas sin seguir el guion y es el espa\u00f1ol quien revela en una entrevista que <strong>Almansa reaparece tambi\u00e9n en el proyecto m\u00e1s quijotesco<\/strong> de Welles: su inacabado Don Quijote (1972). Rodado intermitentemente durante <strong>casi 20 a\u00f1os<\/strong>, inclu\u00eda paisajes del municipio (as\u00ed como escenas en Alcoy) y fue Franco quien uni\u00f3 los numerosos fragmentos recuperados <strong>tras la muerte<\/strong> del director. Con anacronismos deliberados \u2013como una Vespa convertida en \u00abm\u00e1quina infernal\u00bb\u2013, Welles imagin\u00f3 un <strong>ensayo cinematogr\u00e1fico ambientado en la Espa\u00f1a de los a\u00f1os sesenta<\/strong>.
